The steps

Pick a DRep. Browse the directory, read their objectives, and check their on-chain voting record against what they claim.
Open their profile and choose Delegate.
Connect your wallet when prompted. The site never asks for your seed phrase — no legitimate Cardano application ever will.
Review the transaction. It should show a small fee and no ADA leaving your wallet beyond that fee.
Sign and submit. Your delegation takes effect at the next epoch boundary.
