DRep

A delegated representative who votes on Cardano governance actions using ADA voting power delegated to them by holders.

DRep is short for delegated representative. Any ADA holder can register as one, and any ADA holder can delegate their voting power to one. The DRep then votes on governance actions on their delegators’ behalf. Delegation never transfers custody of ADA and has no effect on staking rewards.
