Objectives

My objectives fall under 3 main categories: Technical/Development Focused, Ecosystem Growth and Governance & Community. Technical/Development Focused: - Supporting open-source development - Ensuring best practices that build the foundation for higher security dApp development - Promoting developer experience improvements that lower the entry-barrier to build on Cardano Ecosystem Growth: - Advancing DeFi protocols and financial inclusion - Supporting projects that increase Cardano adoption, which I believe primarily consist in: 1. Stablecoin liquidity and variety 2. L1/L2 scaling solutions, like Ouroboros Leios and Midgard 3. Low entry-barrier open-source tooling 4. Innovative dApps, DeFi platforms and protocols Governance & Community: - Ensuring transparent and accountable treasury spending - Supporting community-driven initiatives - Promoting inclusive participation in governance - Ensuring that technical expertise and developer perspectives are meaningfully represented

Motivation

My motivation is rooted in being deeply invested, both professionally and personally, in Cardano's success, and I believe my hands-on experience building DeFi protocols and open-source tools provides me with unique insights that can help ensure treasury resources are allocated to projects that truly advance our ecosystem's technical capabilities, growth and real-world impact.

Qualifications

My qualifications are: - 2+ years Cardano-focused software development experience - Bachelor's degree in Software and Systems Engineering at Coimbra Institute of Engineering, which lays the foundation for who I am as a software engineer today - Experience leading the development of complex projects as Technical Project Manager at Liqwid Labs - Co-founder of Artifex Labs, experience delivering fully open-source community-oriented projects like OpenDJED (formerly named ReverseDJED)
