Remove minPoolCost, or replace it with a minimum margin, since a percentage treats every pool the same whatever its size. Raise k so stake spreads across more pools. Back treasury spending on infrastructure, protocol work, developer tooling and marketing that reaches real users. Vote against spending on conferences and echo-chamber events. Motivation

I have run GNP1, a small self-hosted stake pool, since 2020. I charge 0% margin, and I currently return the 170 ADA minimum fee the protocol forces on me to my delegators. When the pool earns enough, we donate to mental health charities. I became a DRep because the rules are tilted against pools like mine. minPoolCost comes out of a pool's rewards before delegators see anything, so it takes a far bigger share from a small pool than a large one, and delegators drift to the big operators. Stake keeps concentrating and new pools struggle to ever mint a block. Governance should fix that, not protect it.

Qualifications

Stake pool operator since 2020, running on my own hardware with 100% uptime. I build open Cardano tools on my own db-sync, including the Non-Producing Pool Monitor cited in a CIP pool-pruning proposal. A long career in high-technology, financial and other crime investigation, computer forensics and compliance, including compliance reviews under the UK Bribery Act and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
